Albury Stainless Steel was founded in 1995 by Lindsay and Therese Krautz.
The family-owned and operated business’ initial workshop was a modest shared workspace down in the heart of South Albury.
This space was quickly outgrown and the business was moved and is currently located and operating at 34 Catherine Crescent, Lavington.
THE FOUNDERS
Lindsay and his crew thrived in the commercial kitchen market.
Utilising their unique skills as qualified Fabrication engineers, the team worked and expanded into a range of areas, including Exhaust Canopies & Ducting, SS hand railing/Balustrading, Bar & Cafés, Custom Refrigeration Cabinets, Alfresco Kitchens, Process Pipe & Tube Welding, CAD, just to name a few.
After over 20 years at the helm, Lindsay and Terese had reached a point in their lives and decided to hand the business reins over to the next generation.

Matt & Luke are very well versed in the high standard of quality set by Lindsay & the team as they both completed their respectful apprenticeships under his watchful eye.
The timing was perfect as the boys had been out and about working all over the country & the world, constantly expanding on their initial skillset.
They knew that the challenge of running and updating the business was well within their capacity.
